Why ESG? Why Now?

ESG has moved from the periphery to the center of business strategy and decision-making. Laws and reporting standards (such as the EU’s CSRD, SEBI’s BRSR in India) are mandating ESG disclosures, making ESG compliance no longer optional for companies. With the advent of the latest SEBI Guidelines and mandatory reporting under BRSR, ESG strategy has become essential. Whether you’re in law, finance, sustainability, or policy – ESG is the new gold standard of leadership. This foundational course equips lawyers and professionals with the critical knowledge and practical tools needed to navigate these regulations, advise clients effectively, and lead the charge in sustainable business practices.

About the Course

The course focuses on the practical application of ESG concepts and provides training in the leading global and national disclosure requirements and expectations that are shaping sustainability and corporate governance today, including:

India’s BRSR (Business Responsibility and Sustainability Report) and BRSR Core – SEBI’s sustainability disclosure requirements for listed companies.
